Hermon is a community member and a crochet artist, who’s provided beginner level crochet lessons in B.A.S.S. She has completed a BSc in Psychology at Queen Mary, University of London. Thereafter she followed this with work in secondary schools, providing assistance for young people with special educational needs as a Learning Support Assistant then later as a teacher. 

At present, she is studying an MA in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths university and training to become an Art Psychotherapist. Currently, she is undergoing placement and supervision as a part of the Latimer Community Art Therapy Project (LCAT).

With the completion of her degree, she hopes to return to working within schools and community projects that support children and youth through creative praxis. Through crochet and art more broadly, Hermon seeks to facilitate safe spaces where the expression and processing of emotions can be supported.
